At Le Pon Villa, we value your trust and strive to make your stay in Pondicherry as comfortable as possible. This Refund Policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for bookings made directly through our website or with the property.
1. Standard Bookings
- No advance payment is required for most room reservations. Guests may pay at the property during check-in.
- Since no prepayment is collected in advance, refunds are not applicable for standard bookings.
2. Promotional & Prepaid Bookings
- Some special offers, seasonal packages, or discounted rates may require advance payment.
- These prepaid bookings may have different cancellation and refund rules, which will be clearly mentioned at the time of booking.
- Refunds (if applicable) will be processed using the same payment method used during booking.
3. Cancellations by Guest
- Guests can cancel their booking without any charges if the booking is under “Pay at Property.”
- For prepaid bookings, cancellations made within the free cancellation window (as mentioned during booking) will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made after the free cancellation window may be non-refundable or subject to a cancellation fee.
4. No-Show Policy
- In case of a no-show (guest does not arrive without prior cancellation), prepaid bookings will be non-refundable.
- For standard “Pay at Property” bookings, the room will be held until the check-in time and then released.
5. Cancellations by Hotel
- In rare cases where Le Pon Villa is unable to honor a confirmed booking (due to unforeseen circumstances), guests will receive a full refund of any prepaid amount.
- Additionally, we may assist in arranging alternative accommodation whenever possible.
6. Refund Timelines
- Refunds (if applicable) will be initiated within 7–10 business days from the date of cancellation approval.
- Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
7. Non-Refundable Charges
- Taxes, convenience fees, and service charges (if any) are non-refundable.
- Additional services such as laundry, food, or transport once availed will not be refunded.
